Robert K. Young is the Senior Attorney in the Law Office of Robert K. Young & Associates, P.C., having founded the firm in 1968 after graduating from the University of Rhode Island and completing his law school education and subsequent admission to the New York State Bar in 1968.
During his 44 years of law practice, Mr. Young has successfully represented thousands of clients in the divers areas of personal injury including car accidents, premises liability, construction accidents, medical malpractice, nursing home abuse and accidents, workers' compensation and motorcycle, truck and boating accidents. Mr. Young has extraordinary legal talents and abilities in all of the foregoing areas as well as matters concerning divorce and custody, landlord/tenant and criminal matters. He has litigated numerous cases over the years and is highly regarded throughout the legal community for his professionalism and integrity in the advocacy of his clients.
Mr. Young is a member in good standing of both the Nassau County and New York State Bar Associations and still zealously pursues the claims, best interests and legal goals of his clients.
After attending the University of Albany, Gary J. Young graduated Cum Laude from Thomas M. Cooley Law School and, in July 1998, was admitted to practice law in the State of New York.
Since joining the practice in 1997, Gary has handled thousands of personal injury cases and has recovered millions of dollars on the behalf of his clients.
Gary has also regularly lectured on No-Fault issues and, in January 2012, was voted "Best Attorney in Long Island" by the readership of the Long Island Press.
Jack Cutrone received his undergraduate degree from Villanova University and his Juris Doctorate from Hofstra University. He is an associate specializing in representing personal injury victims and has been a tireless advocate for the rights of injured people since joining the firm in 2002. He has successfully litigated hundreds of cases, including car accidents, slip and fall accidents, work place accidents and medical malpractice claims and has recovered millions of dollars in compensation for his clients.
Mr. Cutrone also has substantial experience representing clients in real estate transactions as well as representing the interests of clients in criminal court matters including traffic violations, DWI, drug charges, burglary, robbery and assault.
Mr. Cutrone has successfully defended many clients against claims of breach of contract and claims of negligence. Notably Mr. Cutrone had a wrongful death case dismissed against his client prior to trial and without any contribution.
Joseph Scheno joined the firm in early 2010 and is currently an associate attorney. He received his Juris Doctorate in 2009 from Touro Law where he was a member of the Dean's List for several semesters of his attendance.
Mr. Scheno is duly admitted to practice law in the States of New York and New Jersey and is a member of the American Bar Association and New York State Bar Association.
Mr. Scheno attended undergraduate studies at the University at Buffalo and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Social Sciences concentrating in Legal Studies and a Minor in Political Science. In addition to his academic involvement at the University, he was also a member of several sports teams and volunteered with the American Red Cross Foundation assisting senior citizens within the Greater Buffalo Chapter.
Since beginning his legal career at Robert K. Young & Associates, P.C., Mr. Scheno has been a tremendous asset to the firm and has spent countless hours assisting clients in all aspects of their lawsuits while also excelling in the courtroom. We look forward to his continued growth as an attorney and as part of our legal team.
Jennifer Deaver received her Juris Doctorate degree from Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsburg Law Center in 2003 and was admitted to the Bar in 2004. She is admitted to practice in both the Second Department of the State of New York and the United States District Court for both the Eastern and Southern District of New York.
Since joining the firm in June, 2010, Ms. Deaver has handled hundreds of personal injury matters. In addition, she has handled all phases of Social Security Disability applications and appeals, real estate transactions as well as several complex matrimonial and family law matters.
She has practiced in the Supreme Courts and Family Courts throughout the State of New York, including the five (5) boroughs, Nassau County, Suffolk County, Westchester and Orange County.
